Battlefield V

With the summer drought of big hitting games creeping towards an end, THE-BIG-DON takes a look at one his big highlights coming soon. If you’ve ever listened to our podcast, chatted with us or know us at all, you will know that we are Battlefield fans rather than that other big shooty shooty franchise. Although EA and Dice have had a few miss steps recently with Battlefront 2 and the stupid loot crates, we have to believe all will be well with Battlefield V.

So we have had a couple of trailers and some info on the beta released recently, the first trailer shows of lot’s of the things we love in the Battlefield series, you have you massive scale warfare, vehicles and destruction.

I can not wait to get boots on the floor (or in the air), to start taking names and tags. Speaking of tags, we potentially saw a new melee kill style in the trailer with the addition of throwing knife, so this could be an interesting dynamic added to the game, hopefully it wont be in the same stupid way of launching a throwing knife across the whole map, we are looking at you COD.

Also within the trailer we see what is potentially Battlefields battle royale, looks like the area shrinks via a wall of flames, this seems to be the in thing at the moment. I haven’t actually played any Royale style games like PubG at the moment so I will see what it’s all about for the first time within Battlefield V.

The game looks beautiful, the good news is that we do not have to long till we can participate in the Beta, that launches on September 6th 2018.

The next trailer focused around building your squad together, and the almost RPG lite like unlock trees for weapons. Again another great trailer that is just getting me pumped for the game.
